NOTES: Dense concentrations of Roman and Byzantine pottery were found during the survey distributed over an area of at least 400 x 300 m, covering c. 95 dunams. Pottery and other artifacts were collected at the SW edge of the village, in gardens and construction sites with pits dug into the ancient settlement. Finds may also date to the Umayyad period and Abbasid periods.
